Mountain Mermaid began as a smoothie trailer in 2023, created to provide quick, healthy options to residents and visitors. Having just moved to the area, the food trailer became a way for me to connect with the community and share my love for simple, small-town living in the mountains.
As I settled in, I noticed a need: locally grown food was underutilized. I wanted to create a way to make fresh, seasonal, and nutritious food more accessible.
In May 2025, we rebranded as Mountain Mermaid, realigning the business with values centered on supporting local growers, sustainable food systems, and healthy lifestyles. This has marked the beginning of a bigger vision to build connection and community through food.
In May 2026, we will open the doors to our first true home (with out wheels) in the most fitting location: the community’s former Holistic Veterinary Clinic, a beautiful log cabin on the river at 773 Tenney Mountain Highway, in Plymouth NH.

Founder & Army Veteran
After leaving the military, I found purpose and healing through nature, food, and community. Mountain Mermaid was born from a deep love of rural America and a vision to restore what makes it strong: self-reliance, connection, and stewardship.

Chief of Operations & Marine Corps Veteran
After leaving the Marine Corps, I found my passion in cooking and nutrition. Being classically trained in culinary arts as well as a current student in nutritional sciences, my goal is to provide delicious, exciting, and healthful meals that are quick and simple.
